“ It's Christmas Eve and we are looking for a place to have dinner. We drove by Korea town and this restaurant is still opened. Everything on the menu looks authentic and delicious. We ordered the seafood pancake and the Gamjatang to share. Initially, the soup was a little spicy but after finishing the whole bowl, it's not spicy anymore. It went very well with the rice. All the banchan tasted good. The seafood pancake had generous amount of seafood like octopus and scallops. It cooked perfectly and it was not dry! It was a nice dinner on a cool Christmas Eve. ”
“ If you're craving bossam, LA Wangbal is the place to get it. The service is really efficient and we got our food quickly. The pork is warm, delicious, and super flavorful. All of the sides were very flavorful too, especially the kimchi! I hate it when it's too sour, and this restaurant does it just righEveryone should definitely check this spot out!! ”
“ I've lost count how many times I've been ordering to-go from here! I love bossam and LA Wangbal does not disappoint. If you're a fan of bossam as well, then I highly recommend d this place. I usually order a large and eat it over a few meals or share with someone. It comes with rice, soup, sides, sauces, and pickled wraps. I love how their bossam pork skin is marinated, which makes it taste so much better than regular boiled bossam. Usually the pork is super tender, but 1 out of maybe 10 times, they did mess up and overcook my bossam. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they never change their recipe. Will definitely be coming back again and again! ”
“ Best jokbal in town. Was so delicious!!!!! I had spicy jokbal and the meat was really tender and sauce was good too! 한타에서 제일 맛있는 족발집! 불족발 추천합니다~~ ”
“ Really satisfying feast. The food came out quickly and made me totally forget about my diet. Also, the best pig feet I had so far with many unique flavors that I did not know that existed. Highly recommend! ”
“ THE BEST JOKBAL place in LA! I was so shocked when I tried the first bite of jokbal as it was so chewy and moist. Seriously the best jokbal I have ever tried in LA. It is cooked perfectly. They serve it with mustard-based sauce and soy paste based sauce which are both very tasty. Definitely recommend getting spicy mixed noodles as it pairs so well with jokbal. We ordered jokbal M and spicy mixed noodles between two of us and they were definitely enough food. We took some leftover jokbal home. Another thing I loved about the place was service. u Usually the service at a lot of korean restaurants are not nice but this place was different. Exceptionally nice waitresses who provide great service. The parking is valet for $3 when we went in evening. The restaurant itself was clean and neat which I liked. My friend said spicy jokbal is also very good so I will go back soon to try it. Highly recommended!!! ”
“ Only reason I came here was to take my wife and her army friend to try the famous Jungkook perilla oil noodle dish. Apparently this is one of the few places that makes it (thanks TikTok). And surprisingly, it was very delicious, and very sweet. But what really surprised me was the beef bulgogi. I think this is the best bulgogi I've ever tasted. The sauce is out of this world. I've tried a lot of bulgogi in my life and this one is just on another level. It's so good I even ate all the veggies that was drenched in the sauce (I usually just eat the meat haha). The restaurant is nice inside, and the staff is wonderful. Of course K-pop music is playing in the background. When the staff saw my wife and friend were army, they started playing BTS music for them (which they loved). If you are army, this place is worth checking out for JK. If you love bulgogi, this place is definitely worth checking out. And if you are a foodie, you should already be here eating all there wonderful delicious dishes. ”
“ Found this casual eatery with super yummy Korean dishes I had: 1. Bossam - boiled pork belly with Napa cabbage 2. Gamja Tang - spicy pork short rib soup with potato 3. Banchan ”
“ Without having to wait, it was honestly 10/10 lunch. We came just in time to still be able to order their lunch special. It came with rice, soybean paste soup, and a choice of entree. The portions were great for a single person and such great price too. Bossam - moist, juicy and tender, perfect ratio of meat and fat, good thickness. Could taste and smell garlic but it was not overpowering. Came with kimchi radish that was sweet and spicy, and pickled radish that added great accent of sourness. Jokbal - also very moist, melted in the mouth feeling, and the cut was not too thick. However, it smelled very gamey. The place is not very big and it is in the same plaza as Zzamong, so there is a parking lot. The banchan they served was also really good. Would totally come back for their bossam! ”
